Indonesia,
a country with thousands of islands,
has more than 220 million peoples
who are from different tribes. This
strongly shows that this country is
a large farm that the Lord has apportioned
to us. Therefore, there is an urgent
need for more workers of the Lord
and believers in the Lord who are
willing to receive this burden to
meet the need of spreading His testimony
to such a wide area like this ‘Nusantara’
archipelago. Full-Time Training Indonesia
receives this glorious commission
to perfect the young believers who
are ready to be sent to the remotest
part of Indonesia for His work. These
trainings will cause them to become
a good continuation of the Lord’s
testimony, which has been pioneered
by those faithful ones who have gone
before us, and also equip them to
be those who are able to face any
challenges in the coming years. The
more people who are perfected, there
more will there be the gifted persons
produced; they will perfect the saints
to be organic, vital, and functioning
members for the building up of Body
of Christ. In this way, the spiritual
quality of the local churches in Indonesia
will be uplifted.
Since
1995, the Full-Time Training in Indonesia
has brought in many real blessings
of the Lord, especially, for His testimony
in this country. By the Lord’s
mercy, many young people who had been
trained, and some of them are now
serving full-time in the various church
services as well as in the different
propagation areas for the Lord’s
testimony contributed to the increase
in quantity and quality of the local
churches in Indonesia. Even, the responsibility
of eldership in the churches is gradually
being handed over to the second generation
produced by this training. Moreover,
by FTTI the fellowship among the churches
has also being intensified and it
brings all the churches in this region
into the practicality of the oneness.
May the Lord’s work and His
rich blessings upon Indonesia, stir
us up to have a heart for His interest
and for the continuation of His recovery.
May this also become an encouragement
for us to make progress and to look
forward to a glorious and a greater
challenging future. Praise the Lord
for the outpouring of His blessings
to His churches! In the days to come,
the churches in Indonesia will be
able to raise their spiritual standard
to the level of that in the churches
universally. They will be built up
in love, with one heart and in one
accord, on the proper ground of oneness.
Eventually, the churches in Indonesia
will be the bright and shining golden
lampstands as a strong testimony of
the Lord on the earth, to be a part
of the Bride of Christ to usher in
the Lord’s return and bring
His Kingdom to the earth.
